When a task (and its subtasks) is reprioritized, therefore, I need to move them down the task list in order to show its relative priority among tasks. The only way I know is to delete the task and its subtasks then insert a new task at the right spot in the Gantt and reenter the info, which is obviously very tedious. Any better way? Thanks!

Ideally, it should provide a drag and drop capability, which is in our product roadmap, but won't be available probably till v10.2 timeframe. For now, you can use the "sort no." in the Gantt to do the trick. Say, you want to move "task-ABC" (and all its sub-tasks) to a spot above the task having sort no.=100. All you need to do is to change the sort no. of task-ABC to 99. The system will automatically rearrange the list order of all tasks and task-ABC will be moved to the spot you want.
